Introducing Myself
Hello! I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is María Margarita
Guarchaj. I am a student of Da Vinci University based in Mazatenango. My place where I live is Aldea Xojolá, Nahualá, Sololá, I am a teacher of Intercultural Primary Education. I currently do not work. I live with my family, I have two sisters and a brother. My hobby is weaving and listening to music, especially Arjona and Celine Dion, I also like to play sports, especially basketball and a soccer game. That is all!

English there are many rules for using capital letters. You probably know many
of them already. To test your knowledge, look at the model paragraph "Introducing
Myself" on page 5 again . On the numbered lines, copy all the words or groups of
words that begin with a capital letter. Add the capitalization rule, if you know it, next
to each entry. Note: You don't need to copy the first word of every sentence or names
that are repeated.

Hello! I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Marciela
Perez. I am a student from the country of El Salvador. I was born in
a little town near San Salvador, the capital of our country. I graduated
from high school there. I came to the United States two years ago
with my mother and my two sisters. We went to New York, where my
uncle Eduardo lives. We lived with him and family in their house in
Brooklyn for six months. He helped my sisters and me get jobs. I work
in a sweater factory. The factory is near City College, where all of us
take classes to learn English. Now we have our own apartment. My
sisters and I work during the day and go to school at night. I want to
quit my job in the factory and go to school fulltime. I hope to go to
college and become a nurse-practitioner. I speak Spanish fluently.
I don't think I have any other special talents. My hobby is making
jewelry. I like to go to the movies. That's all!

  1. Filmmaker George Lucas has changed the film industry in many ways.
  2.  He has written, directed, and produced some of the best-loved movies of our time.

my grandfather was born on October 13, 1933. He is a very dear person in my town for what he has done throughout his career, he is a man who has a lot of nobility, a person who has helped many people who have come to our community that did not have a roof to live in and he received them at home giving them a roof to live on and food while they looked for work to support their families. Also the fuel the first mayor of my community, elected by leaders at that time, where he worked for almost three years without being paid a penny for his service, despite the fact that he only studied his first primary grade and without completing his cycle he can write and read, he also has good manners. It is without a doubt that he is an example to follow for many people.
